Kevin E. Markes
Kevin E. Markes was admitted to the Illinois bar in 2009. After earning a bachelors degree in history from the University of Georgia in 2006, Mr. Markes attended the University of Illinois College of Law. While in law school, he worked for Frederick & Hagle as a law clerk and was mentored by the firm's senior partner. He has been with the firm since February of 2008.
Upon graduation, Mr. Markes joined the firm as an associate attorney, already possessing a wealth of knowledge in the areas of personal injury and workers' compensation law. Mr. Markes is licensed to practice in Illinois and is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
A savvy negotiator, Mr. Markes has secured many prompt settlements in both civil cases and workers' compensation cases. He also recognizes the need to be aggressive when countering strong-arm tactics employed by insurance adjustors and defense attorneys. When settlement negotiations come to a halt, Mr. Markes moves the case forward to break the stalemate, never fearing trial.
Attorney Kevin E. Markes is firmly committed to protecting the rights of individuals from the abuses too often perpetrated by corporations and insurance companies. Aggressive and sensible in equal measure, Mr. Markes is a talented advocate who represents his clients with dignity and class.
Outside of his professional capacity, Mr. Markes enjoys literature, tennis, and contract bridge.
