Doctors reattach worker’s severed arm after horrible accident

In an out-of-state workplace accident that seems most fitting for the plot of a horror movie, a 50-year-old man had his arm severed. Disfigured and bleeding to death, following the workplace accident medical staff wasn’t even sure that this man would survive, much less regain his health with all of his limbs.

Illinois commercial vehicle driver killed in workplace accident

It is not always completely clear if an injured worker is entitled to workers’ compensation benefits following an accident in Illinois. For example, if an office worker is driving on a Wednesday night from home to a dinner date and is in a car accident, the individual would not likely be entitled to workers’ compensation benefits because the accident was not through the course of their employment. Illinois teens suffocate in corn silo while working on farm
